Fans of The Inbetweeners have been waiting with bated breath for the eagerly anticipated arrival of another season. And this potential hint could be as close to brilliant as it's going to get.
Co-creator Iain Morris has suggested over Twitter that a spin-off show called 'Not Now John' could be creeping into production meetings, which would include good ol' Mr Gilbert and also Mr Kennedy. And it would be incredible.
This could be the best news (not to over-exaggerate Jay style) since we were teased about a fourth series or third film. But surely it wouldn't be plastered all over Twitter - not to rain on anyone's parade right now.
If this happens it would mean that Mr John Kennedy, the Geography teacher at Rudge Park, would be starring alongside Mr Philip Gilbert, the intimidating head of the school who ridicules his students on the regs. And in his own words even once said: "I can be one truly, nasty, fucker".

Ah, we really hope this is true.
In the tweet which was sent yesterday, a fan of the show told Iain Morris: "@iainkevanmorris think you should do an inbetweeners spin off called Mr Gilbert."
Morris responded: "We wanted to do one called 'not now john' with Gilbert and Mr Kennedy. We might still."
Think of the fans, Iain. Get this shit off the ground pronto.

Everyone will know Gilbert but maybe you're struggling a little with Mr Kennedy, not sure how that's possible, but let us jog your memory.
Kennedy was introduced to viewers in series three where he made his debut in 'The Field Trip'. He took Neil swimming, lending him some Speedo's (obvs).
Then he groomed Neil - allegedly - when he bought him a bottle of vodka. He hilariously snuck into Will, Simon, Jay and Neil's room and rubbed Neil's legs. He was stopped from going further by Mr Gilbert. Maybe this was the beginning of their blossoming relationship.

Days ago, we saw the lads (as we like to remember them) sat around a table celebrating the 10th anniversary of the popular show but there was only mention of a series four.
But, unfortunately it seems to be a piss take by James Buckley, who plays snorkel-wearing Jay.
The point is there was no mention of this spin-off show that was been teased by Morris this morning, the sneak. But we can hope, dream, pray and keep our eyes peeled for any new suggestions.
