If you couldn't shut your fridge door because it was bursting with food, you wouldn't go and buy more, would you?

However, in the case of Jonathan, it's maybe a case of finding room in the cupboards.

OK, so it's a strange analogy but, maybe for this situation, one that is appropriate. Jonathan already struggles to close his mouth, yet wants more injections for even bigger lips.

On the next episode of Botched, on E! Entertainment, Jonathan meets Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif - the two men in charge of making his lips even more plumped. However, both are seriously worried for his health.

Jonathan tells the show: "I want my lips to be bigger. Obviously, I have filler in my lips now.

"Growing up, I've always been obsessed with dolls and I really wanted to look like that. I was 25, I started getting Botox and fillers so I became obsessed with lip injections.

"And even since then I've been going every three months."

Jonathan wants full vial fillers on both his top and bottom lip, but his previous doctor, on grounds of how dangerous the operation potentially could be, refused the procedure.

He's already had 11 vials in his lips over the past two years, and when asked 'are you able to actually close your mouth' by Doctor Dubrow, Jonathan answered: "Partly."

Dr Dubrow said: "Jonathan has what we call lip incontinence, which means he can't close his lips to a perfect seal.

"That means he already has too much filler in his lip and to go any further can cause him very significant problems."

Pumping the lips with filler stops the blood vessels going to the lips. The dangerous result is that the skin will die and as a result, the patient has no lips.

After the two doctors on the show examine Jonathan they, too, reject the operation, saying the results could be catastrophic.

Do you think Jonathan listened? "It doesn't really scare me much," he said. "I think I'm still going to keep going and get them bigger.

"What's going to make me happy is getting bigger lips."

Cosmetic surgery can help those who have deep underlying mental difficulties to overcome their insecurities.

Jack Johnson is famed for spending £20,000 of taxpayer's money to look like David Beckham.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: "Taxpayers are paying for my champagne lifestyle and will continue to pay because I have got depression.

"I was diagnosed with a very mild case of it, but depression is depression. Why should I work when you can have David Beckham's lifestyle by just staying at home?"
