Hell, yes. This is the news I've been waiting for!

While we're waiting for the Season Seven this summer, HBO execs are teasing us with tantalising rumours of even more Game Of Thrones. Frankly, I don't think we could ever get enough.

According to Variety, HBO programmer Casey Bloys has said that the channel isn't ruling out a prequel at this stage.

"All I can say is that we're exploring it. We don't have any scripts, we're not even close to saying, 'Oh, let's do this,'" Bloys said.

"But it's a big enough property that we would be foolish not to explore it. It's a really rich world. We'd be foolish not to look at it."

Hugely foolish, Casey. And no one likes a fool, right?

Casey has been spreading the prequel rumours all over Hollywood.

"A prequel feels like it has less pressure on it [than a spinoff]," he told Entertainment Weekly.

"[Martin's history of Westeros] gives you areas in which to say to a writer, 'If you were going to do this, then go flesh it out', and we'll see what comes back. But I don't feel any pressure that we have to have something."

What do we want to see in a Game of Thrones sequel?

It got me thinking about what stories I want to see told..

I would definitely like to see a teenage Tyrion rebelling against his father, drinking, falling in love with sex workers, teasing his brother and sister. Also, I'd like to see more about how Cersei and Jaime managed to get away with their incestuous banging and no one even noticed. How, just how.

I'd also like to see more the love quadrangle between Littlefinger, Ned Stark, his older brother and Catelyn - basically anything with Ned Stark and Littlefinger. We've already got the actor in place. Robert Aramayo looks so much like Sean Bean for a reason! Don't waste him!

Or perhaps Varys' backstory could be explored - he's always been a bit neglected. We could learn more about how the mysterious baldman became a eunuch and master-spy.

And I really think the Targaryens need their own spin-off show because there is really too much going on there. Dragons, blondes, incest, riding dragons, being mad and beautiful - that family has every ingredient for a great spin-off.

But maybe we should leave all the characters from Game of Thrones behind and go further back - to when The White Walkers were created and The Wall was made by Bran The Builder.
One thing is for certain, this HAS to happen.
