'Jackass 4' Could Still Happen According To Johnny Knoxville
So, he 'nearly died' when a rocket exploded underneath him, has been hit by a car multiple times (on purpose we might as well add) and, arguably worse than them all - broke his penis when a motorbike stunt went wrong.
Following a less than ideal opening weekend for his new film Action Point (where he popped out an eyeball) - Knoxville has expressed interest in returning to the Jackass franchise for the fourth installment. What a lunatic.
It has been eight years after all, maybe he's really missing it.
Entertainment Weekly asked the question on the tip of everyone's tongues - will there ever be a Jackass 4? As much as I covered my face and curled my toes it's still a guilty pleasure of many.
And it seems Knoxville is on the same page because he said: "It's possible, for sure. It's not like we're saying no. If we did do a new one, we'd have to bring in some new younger guys - just to bring some fresh blood into it. But it's possible."
And it seems if the opportunity arises, Knoxville will be ready that's fo' sho'. And how do we know? Because he's got a load of tricks up his sleeve. Well, stunts.
He said: "I still write ideas down, just in case I get that twitch again. We're sitting on a ton of new ideas. There was so many that we didn't get to shoot for Jackass 3. We have more ideas than we could shoot for Jackass 4, I'll tell you that."
Oh do it for the fans, Johnny. Go on, we dare you - surely that's got to entice the biggest daredevil ever, right?
But he did let everyone in to the obstacle standing between another installment - and we know it's definitely not pain.
"Putting my family and friends through it," answers Knoxville, who notes that the recent passing of his mother, Lemoyne Clapp, 'did make [him] think a little'.
He added: "It's a comedy, but a few of my friends and family members are over that part of it. I totally understand where they're coming from. I've been doing this for so long, it's kind of tough to stop. I gotta take care of myself, but God, I don't want to stop. Am I sick?"
He continued: "If we did Jackass 4, I would commit. But I may need to give my family a break for a second."
We get where he's coming from but a selfish part within us just wants him to deliver - sorry not sorry.
