James Corden Quizes 'The Grand Tour' Hosts While Doing What They Do Best

No, it's not Carpool Karaoke.

This is a TV match made in heaven - James Corden and the hosts of Amazon Prime's upcoming The Grand Tour in the Californian desert.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were joined by Corden, who had organised for them to take part in a quiz for his show, The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The three car show hosts looked like typical Brits abroad as they were told what Corden had planned for them.

Each host would take their turn to drive around the race course, while the others stood on the sidelines providing piss-funny narration.

The twist came when Corden took his place in the passenger seat. The hosts had to drive around the course as fast as possible while answering Corden's questions.

Here's a clip.

"Oh ask me about Egypt," Clarkson replied when Corden asked him if he missed Top Gear.

"If you haven't watched the show, James May is not a fast diver," Clarkson said as May took his place on the start line. May replied: "I don't know my way around here" and all but confirmed Clarkson's statement.

"Yes, I'm moving the seat forward," Hammond said as he prepared to beat his colleagues.

During Hammond's turn in the hot seat, he accidentally hit the emergency button and was briefly interrupted by a women asking about his state of emergency.

The final results, confirmed and announced by Corden, revealed that May came in third, Clarkson came second and Hammond won the challenge. But even stood at the top of podium, he was still shorter than his co-host Clarkson.

All three hosts took to twitter to share their excitement.

It's fair to say they scared the shit out of Corden, who is used to being in the driving seat, singing in Carpool Karaoke when in the company of celebs.

The highly anticipated The Grand Tour launches on Amazon Prime on November 18th, which is 18 months after Clarkson left the BBC.

Can't. Wait.
