Jenna Fischer And Angela Kinsey Starting Weekly Podcast About The US Office

Jenna Fischer And Angela Kinsey Starting Weekly Podcast About The US Office

Fans of the US version of The Office were devastated when the show finally ended in 2013 after nine years on the air.

While there have been some cast reunions since, we haven't really had much in the way of content related to the show from those behind the show... until now.

Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey - who played receptionist turned salesperson Pam Beesly and accountant Angela Martin, respectively - have decided to start a weekly podcast to talk exclusively about the hit sitcom.

Called Office Ladies, the podcast will see the two actors dishing on what went down during the filming of the show, what everyone was like, and plenty of other interesting tidbits.

Fischer said: "I'm excited to be working with my best friend Angela Kinsey.

"So many memories are flooding in as we go back and watch the episodes - many of which I haven't seen since they aired.

"As we close in on the 15th anniversary of the show, it seemed like a great time to share our stories and behind-the-scenes trivia with fans.

"Besides talking about The Office, you can also hear us chat a little about our lives, our Target runs together, our friendship through the years. It's a lot of fun."

Kinsey added: "This show combines two of my favourite things: The Office and getting to hang out with my real life BFF, Jenna Fischer!

"The Office was such an amazing chapter of our lives and it means so much to us that we get to share some of our memories of filming it with our audiences.

"There'll be lots of behind-the-scenes stories and lots of us just being BFFs. So come on! What are you waiting for? Snuggle up next to me and Jenna on the sofa and let's rewatch The Office together!"

It will be welcome content considering The Office US is set to leave Netflix next year so that NBC, which owns the show, can put it on its own streaming service.

All nine seasons of the popular show will be streamed exclusively on NBCUniversal, an upcoming direct-to-consumer platform.

A statement from Netflix US said: "We're sad that NBC has decided to take The Office back for its own streaming platform - but members can binge watch the show to their hearts' content ad-free on Netflix until January 2021."

While it's not confirmed, everyone is secretly hoping Fischer and Kinsey will bring on their Office co-stars so that we can feel like we're in Dunder Mifflin all over again.
