The cast of Marvel's forthcoming Black Panther movie is already pretty strong.
Chadwick Boseman will play the lead role while Star Wars' Lupita Nyong'o has been confirmed as Black Panther's love interest.

Michael B. Jordan of Creed is also rumoured to be starring as the villain.
Heroic Hollywood have reported that Boyega, also of Star Wars is currently in talks for a role in the film.
Which might explain why he's in Hollywood right now.
Or he could just be shooting Episode VIII, both are entirely plausible.

As of right now, Boyega's possible character is obviously unknown.
Black Panther is set to be directed by Ryan Coogler, who also helmed last year's Rocky spin-off Creed.
This will be Boseman's second appearance as Black Panther after having an outing in Captain America: Civil War, just like EVERY other Marvel superhero. Except Thor.

The standalone movie is set for release next year.
As for Boyega, he's recently hinted that Episode VIII will be significantly darker than The Force Awakens. "Rian's great. It's a different take, darker, bigger. Someone will say: 'How do you get bigger than 'Force Awakens?' But it's crazy."
This confirms what many of us already thought and it seems like VIII will mirror the tone of Empire, which makes sense if you employ Johnson to make a film.
