There was a time when John Travolta was one of the most desired men on planet Earth.
Famous for his breakthrough role as the leather-clad high school student, Danny Zuko, in the iconic musical, Grease.

With enough product in his hair to oil up the entire cast of Magic Mike and Magic Mike XL, he was the coolest guy around and if that wasn't enough, had the voice of an angel.
But after revealing a drastic new look, it would seem the 64-year-old is embracing his age. The actor shared a photograph of he and his daughter, Ella, celebrating New Years together, with Travolta showing off his bald bonce.
New year, new you, I guess.

He posted the picture on his Instagram account, with the caption: "I hope everyone had a great New Year!"
It's not quite clear when he went for the chop, but in recent months he has been pictured with a pretty thick head of hair and a full beard; perhaps it's for a new role?
He's no stranger to going for skin, in 2010 he shaved off his hair when he played agent Charlie Wax in From Paris With Love.
And if it is for a new part it definitely won't be his most dramatic transformation, that surely has to have been his role as Edna Turnbald in the 2007 adaptation of Hairspray, which saw him put on a whole heap of make-up, a wig, and a fat suite for the hit musical.

One thing is for sure, the new do seems to have gone down well with his fans who have been commenting on the photo.
One fan wrote: "Love this! Always a very handsome man but this look...You look even hotter...very Sean Connery!"
Another said: "You are still as handsome as ever. Your daughter is very pretty."
A third then said: "Loving the new look Travolta!!!! You will always be the man!"

Another of the actor's fans then praised his daughter. They wrote: "Ella is so lovely. Looks just like her moma. With such a beautiful image of you both, why so serious John? Happy New Year. Here's to a wonderful 2019 for all."
Diggin' the new vibe, John.
