Get ready for their new show...

They're not as public about it as some, but Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuiness definitely have a bromance - one which has led them to star in a new show together.

The Keith and Paddy Picture Show is on ITV tonight, and the two sat down with LADbible to discuss what a dream come true it is for both of them... well, once Keith has finished his coffee.

"I've just ordered a cappuccino," says Keith. "Very London," is Paddy's response, only to be corrected by Keith, who tells him it's Italian. Already the pair are giggling away.

The interview was then interrupted by a waiter bringing in salmon and scrambled egg for Keith.

"It doesn't get more middle class than this," says Bolton's finest, Paddy.

"Yeah and later I'll have some cocaine and suck you off," is Keith's instant reply. Cue fits of laughter again.

In between the hysterics, LADbible learned where the show came from, what makes it special to them, and why they've found a new hero.

"Eight years ago, we did Let's Dance For Comic Relief," explains Paddy. "And we recreated the dance from Dirty Dancing. It was never meant to be anything more than that, but then we noticed it got loads of views on YouTube.

"We thought there may be something in this," he continues. "And we're both really passionate about films, so we decided to write our own version of Dirty Dancing and we never did anything with it."

Although they wrote it back in 2009, they've had to do another re-write. References to John Leslie and Lily Allen are examples where it's moved on from.

Having known each other for a decade, the bromance has had time to blossom.

"We don't see each other that much but when we're both back in London, then we'll both hook up," says Keith.

"We're very alike but extremely different."

Paddy responds: "Yeah, like he's come in this morning dressed like something a West End musical, and I'm in my jeans, but we are very alike, except for dress sense." Keith claims his dress sense is an expression of himself through fabrics.

The Keith and Paddy Picture Show will see the boys recreate five of their favourite movies: Dirty Dancing, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Jaws, and Rocky.

"I couldn't pick one out of the five [as favourite]," says Keith. "Because they are all very different, but that's what makes the series very different, each episode is like, 'oh, we're in a different world now'.

"It was crazy being Luke Sky Walker, and Paddy loved being Sylvester Stallone. I think his Rocky was my Luke.

"I was walking around with a hard-on, oh no sorry, it was a lightsaber, I was very chuffed to be Luke.

"But it was also nice being lifted by Patrick, he'd been working out since September - and we achieved the dream I think."

A host of celebrities join Keith and Paddy in each of their films, including Michelle Keegan, Anna Friel, Ant and Dec, Phillip Schofield, Will Mellor and Robbie Williams.

Keith says: "It was great working with Robbie Williams. Paddy knew him from before, but that was only the second time I had met him. He was a very nice fella."

"Steven Tomkinson is our new hero," interrupts Paddy. "He just came down the set, and, you know, he just a proper good actor. You had to up your game, you watched him do stuff, do the acting and all that, and you thought, 'oh, you can't fuck this up now'.

"But they are all the same, Anna Friel too. People you don't normally see doing things like this, we were buzzing when they agreed to it.

"We sent them the script, they were our first choices. Because we wanted to go with people you don't associate with shows like this, and they liked it."

Classic Keith soon returned: "I've wanted to do something with Anna Friel for ages, anything."

The show took five weeks to film and you get the sense that the pair lived the dream for over a month.

Paddy says: "Where I was brought up, in Bolton, to suddenly find yourself on the set where they made James Bond and Star Wars, it was really kind of a 'pinch yourself' moment."

Keith agrees: "Now we just want it to be a success so we can do more. I'm obsessed with being Kiefer Sutherland in Lost Boys.

"There's an exclusive for you, we're looking at Lost Boys for the next series then,"adds Paddy.

The Keith and Paddy Picture Show is on ITV tonight at 9.15.
