The much-loved show ends this year

Rose Leslie is a lucky woman. She's married to Kit Harington, for one. You would think that this privileged position might garner her a spoiler or two on just how Game of Thrones is going to end.

Well, according to Kit, it has, but it turns out that isn't such a good thing.

"I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn't talk to me for about three days," he told radio show KISS Breakfast. "And she'd asked!"

Harington was happy to indulge his wife, but in general, he is lauding it over the world in the knowledge that he knows something that half of us would kill to know.

He added: "It's quite nice walking around, which will only happen for a few months before everyone's seen it, knowing.

"I know and no-one else does. I know how it wraps up. Yeah, I think it's gonna be groundbreaking."

However, even he's not sure that he's happy with the ending, which might not bode well for fans.

When asked for his opinion on how it ends, he admitted: "It's a weird one to answer, that. I can't really answer whether I'm happy or not.

"I don't think it's about happy or sad really. I'm satisfied with what they did, but I don't know whether I'll be really satisfied until I see it."

Harington was among the last to finish shooting - predictably, as he is probably going to be at the core of whatever the ending is going to be - though he revealed that his personal experience of the end of the shoot was a little underwhelming.

"My last day on set was really weirdly tedious because I just had to shoot going up and down these stairs and that was it," he divulged.

Jon Snow and Rose Leslie met on the set of Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones has been going for seven series, and Jon Snow has been in just about every episode of it, so just walking down some stairs is probably a little bit of a let down in terms of bowing out.

Kit Harington - rumoured to be the next Batman - will probably survive, however. He's gone from a little-known British actor to one of the most recognisable faces in the world on the back of the show, after all.
