If you're anything like me, watching someone go on Britain's Got Talent to sing just seems like a massive waste of time. There's singing competitions you can go on, why are you wasting our time when we could be watching a quick-change act or a dog in a sombrero?

However, I have to admit that when I watched this video... I started clapping. Yeah, I'm sat in an office with headphones in and I probably looked very weird to my colleagues, but honestly, this LAD absolutely smashes it.

His name is Kyle Tomlinson and he's just 15 years old. A couple of years back, he auditioned for BGT and David Walliams told him he needed a singing teacher. The poor kid was just 12 at the time.

Kyle recently spoke to Daily Star to reveal that he's struggled with bullying since he was very young: "I'm a big lad so I've always been bullied in school. People picked on me for singing and said I was rubbish. They took the mick out of me and took advantage.

"I once got smashed across the face with a metal scooter. But, you know, that's life - sometimes you have to literally take it on chin."

However, when the Sheffield LAD took to the stage and Alesha asked him to tell them something about himself, he recalled the story of Walliam's harsh criticism, to which Walliams jokingly replied: "That doesn't sound like the kind of sensible thing I'd say!"

Simon asked: "Was it said quite harshly?" and Kyle simply answered: "Yeah."

The audience began booing and Walliams looked pretty uncomfortable at this point.

Anyway, Kyle took to the stage to sing Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' and well... damn. I got goosebumps.

After his performance, Simon led the standing ovation. The other judges quickly followed and the whole paced erupted into cheers and applause. Kyle was so overwhelmed with emotional that he sheds a tear. It's fucking awesome to be honest.

Anyway, everyone waits with baited breath to hear what Walliams has to say...

Of course, he pressed the Golden Buzzer. The LAD deserved it.

Walliams said: "It was a really, really moving performance. I'm really glad you came back to prove me wrong."

Twitter users absolutely loved it.

Amazing stuff. Well done, Kyle. And remember, bullying is shit. Why would anyone want to make someone else feel bad for no reason? Trust me, it's always the people who get bullied who end up having the best lives. And the bullies? Well, let's just say that all the bullies from my school are still in the same town where we grew up and have nothing going on.

If you're struggling with being bullied, I feel for you. But it does get better. In the meantime, there are plenty of places that can help.
