Mark Hamill may be most known as one of the heroic good guys of the Star Wars world, but he's now shaking things up a little by playing the baddie - well, voicing the baddie at least.
In fact, Hamill will be providing the voice for one of cinema's most iconic antagonists: none other than Chucky, the evil, demonic doll from the Child's Play slasher film series.
Hamill announced the news in a pre-recorded message, which was shown at the Orion panel presentation at WonderCon in Anaheim.

Hamill told cheering fans: "If you're wondering who's going to play Chucky in the new Child's Play, you're looking at him."
For the forthcoming 'contemporary re-imaginging' of the 1988 original, Hamill will be joining a cast that also includes Aubrey Plaza, who will play Karen Barclay - the character portrayed by Catherine Hicks in the original film.
She recently warned horror fans to 'buckle up' in the lead-up to the reboot's release, telling The Hollywood Reporter it will have an 'Spielbergian' feel to it.

She said: "To me, the original is an iconic movie. I haven't seen our film, just the trailer, but it's a real throwback horror movie.
"It's almost got a Spielbergian vibe to it. The reason I did it was for how beautiful the script was. It doesn't feel like a hokey, shticky, campy movie."
She added: "I play Karen, the mother, and I have less interaction with Chucky than the actor who plays my son does. I can't reveal too much. We're not supposed to talk about Chucky.

"It builds for Karen in a way that I'm interacting with Chucky by the end, but I'm mostly dealing with my son - who I almost believe is behind the mayhem.
"The horror of it all will be for the audience. For me, it's more of a psychological thriller."
Gabriel Bateman and Brian Tyree Henry will also feature in the reboot, which will follow a gang of kids as they take on the legendary murderous doll.
A few months back, Orion Pictures released the first poster for the Child's Play with the tagline: "More Than a Toy... He's Your Best Friend."

The official trailer then dropped last month, showing us we wouldn't be in for an easy ride - with lots of blood-splattered knives and a very worried-looking, gagged and bound Aubrey Plaza.
The film is due to hit cinemas on 21 June 2019.
