Marvel fans, hold on to your hero masks as events surrounding the Avengers 4 trailer are about to get 'crazy' - according to tweets after a question and answer session with the Russo brothers.

Many lucky fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) were treated to a special viewing of Avengers Infinity War in Hollywood last night followed by the opportunity to question the men behind the films, Anthony and Joseph Russo. There was one condition: questions about Avengers 4 and its hotly anticipated trailer were strictly off limits.

The whole Q&A session went by without a single mention of the upcoming film, except for a possible nugget of information from The Cosmic Wonder (TCW), who tweeted we'd be getting something soon.

Along with this, the man who was behind the title 'leak', Jeremy Conrad, recently tweeted the upcoming film would be called Avengers: Annihilation and he seemed to be in the know about the next installment in the MCU.

Fellow Hollywood insider Daniel R tweeted some shocked emojis with no explanation, meaning fans are left up in the air and very frustrated over the whole situation.

On Monday, fans thought they may be in with a chance of seeing the trailer along with the Q&A. A note stated: "Stick around after the screening for a very special Q&A with directors Anthony and Joe Russo."

This left people speculating that it would be ideal time to drop the trailer, with the Russo brothers then on hand to answer any questions about it. However, it wasn't to be and the brothers seem to be keeping details close to their chest.

This is unlike Mark Ruffalo, who plays The Hulk and was left in hot water back in October after he let slip the title of the upcoming film on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Of course, the moment was beeped out for TV, but this didn't stop the Russo brothers tweeting to Ruffalo saying: "Mark, you're fired."

No, we haven't got the title yet, and the trailer hasn't dropped, but hang on in there, MCU fans. If rumours stand we could expect something pretty soon. Fingers crossed.
