Matt LeBlanc, AKA Joey from Friends, AKA the best one off new Top Gear, has reportedly signed a £2 million solo deal with the BBC.

According to a report, the BBC felt that keeping Matt was a priority, especially after losing The Great British Bake Off to Channel 4.

Chris Evans, AKA the worst ever Top Gear host, announced he wouldn't be back for a second series after he was savaged by critics throughout his time as presenter.

Matt, on the other hand, was liked by viewers and it seems the BBC are keen to keep hold of him. As well as offering him a shitload of cash, Matt's new deal will also see flexible working so he can carry on filming his US sitcom, Man with a Plan, the Sun reports.

There are also rumours that BBC TV controller Charlotte Moore has offered Paul Hollywood a spot on the show. Now, I don't know about you, but that sounds like a bloody awful idea.
