​Netflix’s 'Castlevania' Season 2 Teased On Official Twitter Account

Following the pretty successful debut season, the second chapter for the Castlevania TV show has just been teased.

Netflix confirmed the production of another season last year, but this is the first piece of promotion we've seen for the upcoming sequel.

A newly created Castlevania Twitter account tweeted a gif portraying a scene from the upcoming release, with the caption 'blood will flow'.

Also, Powerhouse Animation, the team behind the series, tweeted on the 2nd: "July 7th marks the one YEAR Anniversary of Castlevania on Netflix.

"We'll be celebrating with a... BIG announcement coming later this week!"

Whether this new tweet is what they were talking about is unclear, but we're hoping for something a little bit better than a gif - we've seen two now!

The first season grabbed an impressive score of 86 percent from Rotten Tomatoes, and Netflix want to use this success to go even bigger than last time.

The streaming service has listened to their fans wishes, and Season 2 will be double the size of the last, boasting a respectable eight episodes rather than four.

We're not sure whether Adi Shankar, showrunner for the last season, will be returning for this one, but we reckon we'll hear more about this in the near future. Make sure you stay tuned for more updates.
