New 'Deadpool 2' Trailer Has Been Released And We Couldn't Be More Excited

New 'Deadpool 2' Trailer Has Been Released And We Couldn't Be More Excited

It's now less than a month until fans finally get to see Deadpool 2, but thankfully 20th Century Fox has given us another sneak preview at the film.

The 'official synopsis' for the film reads: "After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry's hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste.

"Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavour - finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World's Best Lover."

It shows that Deadpool is taking lead from his superhero predecessors Justice League and The Avengers by forming a cheeky group of mutants to take down the baddie, aka Cable (Josh Brolin).

But in typical Ryan Reynolds fashion, there are a few digs at those movies included in the dialogue, including one aimed at DC Comics and another where Deadpool looks at the camera and says: "Pump the brakes, Thanos."

The first Deadpool was box office hit and was the most successful R-rated movie of all time after raking in $783.1 million (£578 million) worldwide. Clearly, audiences loved the character and it was only a matter of time before a sequel was made.

Deadpool 3 Confirmed To Be In MCU And R-Rated

Filming for the new movie ended in October last year. To celebrate, Reynolds posted to Facebook, writing: "That's a wrap on DEADPOOL 2: A SONG OF FIRE AND ICE!

"Thank you to our beloved Captain, Mr. David Leitch... words are too clumsy to properly acknowledge your giant heart and talent. I love my hometown of Vancouver and our obscenely gifted crew.

"From our PA's, (who are first in and last out) to our set decorators and prop departments, riddling this film with Easter Eggs in almost every scene... Thank you. I already miss being on set.

"Which is why I've decided to continue shooting the film in my underwear from Josh Brolin's well appointed living room. #MaximumEffort"

The sequel is scheduled for release in the UK on May 15 and May 18 in the US.
