There's a new Jungle Book movie and everyone's very excited. We know this because it took in an incredible $103.6 million on its opening weekend.

To put that into perspective, that's the second biggest April opening of all time, second only to Furious 7 which came out in 2015 and amassed a seriously impressive $147.1 million.

According to USA Today, 33% of tickets were purchased by 18-24 year old people. Which means that particular bracket dominated the sales. Which kind of makes no sense, as they weren't the ones who were kids back when the original cartoon film came out in 1967. However, Millennials are known to be partial to a bit of nostalgia. Well, isn't everyone?

The cast is as star-studded as you'd expect, with Bill Murray starring as Baloo, Idris Elba as Shere Khan and Scarlett Johansson as Kaa to name a few.

Will you be going to watch it?
