Nikki and Brie Bella Just Absolutely Nailed It As The Twins From ‘The Shining’
It's coming up to that time of the year when you can buy pumpkin-spiced everything and fancy dress is the order of the day. I'm talking, of course, about Halloween.
While most of us search frantically through our cupboards in the hope that we don't have to splash out on an expensive costume, the twins of this world have a list of options that are cheap and easy to make recognisable. You've got the Mario brothers, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and, if you're of the horror persuasion, those creepy twins from The Shining.
WWE's Nikki and Brie Bella took full advantage of this by dressing as the terrifying duo for last night's episode of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
And yes, of course they said, "Come play with us, Jimmy" while taunting the host with their uncanny impression. Needless to say, they absolutely nailed it - who knew ghosts loved beer pong?
Yep, that was a glorious homage to the Steven Spielberg classic. But the fun didn't end there, as Jimmy really did use the interview to 'play'.
As many of you will know, Nikki and Brie Bella are real-life twin sisters who perform in the WWE ring as professional wrestlers. While many contend over which one is tougher, Jimmy decided to settle the debate once and for all with the only way to test a person's strength - thumb wars.
"Nikki, on Sunday night, you're competing for the Raw Women's Championship at WWE Evolution," said Fallon. "Tonight though there's another championship belt going up for grabs... this is The Tonight Show Thumb Wrestling Championship belt."
Obviously Nikki's the champion, which is perhaps why she's moving away from the wrestling ring and into the octagon as part of a groundbreaking pay-per-view event, Evolution, and facing off with none other than Ronda Rousey.
Speaking about the event, Nikki said: "The fact that I'm going to be there and competing against Ronda Rousey and having my twin sister next to me, I mean it's a dream come true.
"It's kind of one of those feelings that the impossible became possible," Brie added. "The women at WWE never thought this day would come and that fact that it's here. It's just, it's a huge honor. It makes us all emotional."
