ITV have allegedly signed Deal or No Deal host Noel Edmonds for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

According to figures reported by the Sun, the presenter has been paid more than £500,000 ($647,500) which is one of the largest fees ever paid.

Meanwhile, last year's winner Georgia Toffolo was reportedly paid 'just' £13,000 ($16,800).

Sixty-nine-year-old Edmonds is currently in the middle of a legal battle with HBOS, a subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group, and could be a late signing for the show.

An ITV 'source' (always seems so trustworthy when it's an unnamed source, doesn't it?) is reported to have told the newspaper: "Producers are talking about Noel as one of their best signings ever.

"Bosses think he'll have loads of stories to tell and will be a great talker around the campfire. They've been desperately trying to keep him under wraps as he's the cherry on the top of the series for them."

Hmm, sounds legit.

However, when LADbible approached ITV they said: "We wouldn't comment on this speculation."

If the rumours are true, Noel will be the eleventh celebrity to enter the jungle as the confirmed line-up was announced last night.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham manager Harry Redknapp has been a huge signing for the ITV show.

The 71-year-old said: "There's nothing tougher than being a manager of a football team when things aren't going well. When the results are bad, believe you me being a manager is a very tough, lonely occupation.

"You feel responsible however many people support your team every week. The buck stops with you. You haven't got many friends when it's not going well as a football manager. So no I don't think doing this will be tougher.

"But to be honest, I have not actually watched the programme! I watch sport all day and all night when I'm at home and we are out three to four nights a week."

Another familiar face will be Inbetweeners star, Emily Atack.

The 28-year-old has not ruled out finding love in the jungle and said: "I am at an age where I want to flip things on the head and do something mad and exciting.

"I am single at the moment. And never say never (to finding a romance in the camp). We are in a situation where we are all not going to smell our best, nor look our best and I can't really imagine it happening but hey, who knows?! It's a bit of fun!"
