Piers Morgan was booed when he was picked out in the audience by NTA host Dermot O'Leary.
Fans at home watching the ceremony are loving the reaction:
Piers Morgan has made his views pretty much crystal clear when it comes to nominations regarding Good Morning Britain but also when it comes to the Best TV Presenter category.
He has ranted about Ant McPartlin not being a deserving winner of the award.
Morgan, 53, was gloating about Good Morning Britain being selected in the running for 'Best Daytime Show' - as well as holding a silence for the show's rival, the BBC, and its absence from the nominations.

Then his attention quickly turned to Ant and Dec, leading to a discussion about the Geordie duo, who have been nominated for the section 'TV Presenter' and also 'The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment' award.
This is despite Dec being the only half of the duo to have been on our screens following Ant's drink driving conviction.
Morgan laughed: "Congratulations to Ant McPartlin who's got an NTA nomination despite sitting on his backside for the entire year.

"I mean that's the way to do it, isn't it? No work, walk the dog, get up, go and have a walk around, chat to your mates."
He added: "I mean, I love Ant but come on, really? Really, British public, you're going to give the award again to a guy who hasn't done any work this year? And I've been coming in every single day."
Not letting it go, he said: "They'll win, even though Ant's basically been sitting on his backside from what I can see, walking his dog for the last year. He's got an award."
