The Academy Awards had a first this year, opting for a number of stars to take care of hosting duties, rather than the usual single presenter.

Amongst the huge stars tasked with taking care of the Oscars were Samuel L Jackson, Serena Williams, Jason Momoa and Paul Rudd.

Rudd presented the Best Visual Effects gong alongside Sarah Paulson; but while First Man got the prize, it was Rudd's ageless looks that got viewers talking.

Rudd, who is somehow 49, looked as youthful as ever and social media users, once again, couldn't get their heads around it.

One wrote: "Wow does Paul Rudd even age?"

Another said: "Another award show, further proof that Paul Rudd does not age."

While a third commented: "Paul Rudd seems so nice for a guy that obviously bathes in virgin's blood to stay young."

Rudd, who turns 50 in April, was one of a number of stars at the awards repping the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Earlier this evening we saw fellow MCU star Chris Evans melting hearts by being a proper gent and helping Oscar winning Regina King onto the stage to accept her award for Best Supporting Actress.

Tonight saw the MCU making history, with its hit film Black Panther being nominated for the Best Picture gong - the first ever time a super-hero movie has been up for the award.

The movie was a hit with the Oscar's judging panel, picking up a handful of nominations and winning Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.

Meanwhile, Avengers: Infinity Wars was nominated for Best Visual Effects, but lost out to First Man.
