After what seemed like forever, Peaky Blinders finally returned tonight and it was pretty bloody good, wasn't it?
If you haven't seen it yet, you might want to stop here and catch up before you read any more, no one likes a spoiler.
The episode picked up where the last ended, after the Shelbys were walked off in handcuffs - this one opened in Winson Green Prison where it looked like it could be the end for the family.

Fortunately, Tommy comes up trumps and manages to save them just in the nick of time. Quite a fucking opening, wasn't it? You're lying if you say you weren't on the edge of your seat. Also, how good was the soundtrack?
From there we fast forward a year and the family look to have all gone their separate ways - I especially liked Arthur with his longer locks and chickens - and Tommy seemed focused on his business, rather than his past.
But of course, the Shelbys can't stay apart for long, and when the family start receiving sinister 'black hand' warnings through the post, from the mafia, it's obvious they're going to have to work together.
So, that's the Peaky Blinders versus the mafia, eh? Well, I think this series already looks like it could be the best yet and fans were over the moon to have it back on our screens, as well as the first peak (sorry) of Oscar-winner Adrien Brody.
Fans can look forward to five more, hour-long episodes.
