For a long time, Tormund (played by Kristofer Hivju) has been a fan favourite on the HBO show. The red-headed warrior is a renowned leader and raider among the Free Folk.
But away from his fighter façade, he's recently shown that he has a much softer side to his personality.
During episode six of the seventh series, 'Beyond the Wall', fans witnessed Tormund admit his love for Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie).

Previously, she had shown no interest in the poor bloke, but if she saw his confession in episode six she may want to change her mind.
"I have a beauty waiting for me back at Winterfell, if I ever get back there," Tormund admitted to The Hound (Rory McCann) in a funny exchange before their battle with the dead.
"Yellow hair, blue eyes, tallest woman you've ever seen. Almost as tall as you."
The Hound responded: "You're with Brienne of fucking Tarth?" - remembering that he was near beaten to death by the very same woman.

The rest of the exchange was pretty funny, too...
Tormund: "Well, not with her yet. But I see the way she looks at me."
Hound: "How does she look at you? Like she wants to carve you up and eat your liver?"
Tormund: "You do know her."
Hound: "We've met."
Tormund: "I want to make babies with her. Think of them. Great big monsters, they'd conquer the world."
Hound: "How did a mad fucker like you live this long?"
Tormund: "I'm good at killing people."
It seems that everybody shared the delight of Tormund putting his heart out there.
Later, in the same episode, poor Tormund never got to tell Brienne how he felt. The warrior was nearly dragged into the abyss of wights, only for The Hound to rescue him.
However, he now has the chance to reach Brienne, and all we need is for him to convince her he is a perfect match.
He'll just have to beat Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) to it.
