OK, try not to get too excited, guys, but it looks as though the Avengers 4 trailer might be here on Wednesday.

Yup, fans have been doing a bit of sleuthing online and reckon that the new trailer will be aired this week to coincide with a special Avengers: Infinity War screening hosted by Collider, which directorial team the Russo Brothers will be attending.

According to information released about the screening, a note states: "Stick around after the screening for a very special Q&A with directors Anthony and Joe Russo." Fans are already speculating that it would be ideal time to drop the trailer, with the Russo brothers then on hand to answer any questions about it.

If you're fully on-board with this theory and are now screaming 'WHAT TIME ON WEDNESDAY? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST TELL ME THE BLOODY TIME!' Firstly, calm down. Secondly, again, according to ticket information, the screening will start at 6.30pm local time (2.30GMT, so technically in the early hours of Thursday) and is on for two hours 40 minutes - so it's likely the question and answers part will start at about 9.10pm local time (or 5.10am GMT).

Meanwhile, Anton Volkov from Trailer Track seems to reckon it's a sound theory, tweeting to say that he thinks the trailer will be released sometime before the Collider screening.

Across a series of tweets, he wrote: "Yes, Collider is doing an Infinity War screening in LA with the Russos doing an extended Q&A after. Collider organise these screenings all the time - most often it's advance screenings of films, sometimes (like Mission Impossible: Fallout most recently) it was for the Blu-ray release.

"So, they always tie into something. So if you're thinking: does the screening have anything to do with the Avengers 4 trailer? Most probably, yes. Will they debut the trailer though? Most likely, no. That's important as it seems so many who applied did so in hopes of the trailer.

"Most likely scenario is - debuts online sometime before the screening and the Russos use the Q&A to properly discuss A4 for the first time in an interview setting. If it doesn't? At most they might say the title and hint or reveal the online launch date."

As rumours gather pace online, fans are getting pretty excited, but with no official confirmation or denial I guess we'll have to wait until Wednesday to find out, eh?
