Peter Crouch And Abbey Clancy To Star On 'Celebrity GoggleBox'

Celebrity Gogglebox is back for another year and this time we'll see none other than the Stoke City footballer Peter Crouch take to the couch with his wife, model and TV presenter, Abbey Clancy and her dad, Geoff.
The trio will be reviewing - in other words gawping and gossiping - at the week's TV highlights in a special edition of the show as part of Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK's Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C).
Both Peter and Abbey said they were huge fans of the TV review programme and the campaign SU2C.
They said in a statement: "We are such huge fans of Gogglebox so being able to take part in it together is amazing, especially when it's for such a brilliant cause. The work being done by the Stand Up To Cancer campaign is phenomenal and we are thrilled to be able to play our part."
Along with looking forward to seeing if the famous couple gossip and slag off some weeknight TV, the show will also feature some of the genuine Gogglebox households including Giles and Mary, Jenny and Lee and the Siddiquis - all of who have gained a form of mini-celebrity status since joining the show.
This isn't the first time the BAFTA award winning show has broadcast in support of SU2C with celebrity guests - in recent years the show has had some rather unlikely celebs share the sofa.
From Naomi Campbell and Noel Gallagher to Jamie Dornan and Nick Frost, Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher, Jeremy Corbyn and Boy George to pop stars Olly Murs and Niall Horan and comedian Miranda Hart (along with her real-life mother, Diana) - all have featured on the show all in the name of charity.
Last year Liam Gallagher appeared on the show with his son, following in the footsteps of his older - and almost as outspoken - brother Noel.
Noel appeared on the show, giving his opinion alongside 90s pals and models, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, in a 2014 episode of the TV show.
SU2C launched back in the UK back 2012 as a joint campaign between Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 in order to raise funds for translational research, accelerating new cancer treatments and tests to UK patients to save more lives, more quickly.
So far, the campaign has raised more than £38 million in the UK to date - this has allowed funding 35 trials and projects involving more than 8,000 cancer patients and supporting one international Dream Team.
