If you asked the average Dave on the British street what they thought of Piers Morgan, the answer might not always be something you'd like your mum to hear. If you asked them what they'd like to see happen to him on national television, then getting debagged by a former England cricketer might well be quite high on the list.
Viewers of A League of Their Own know that any guest who makes the decision to come on the show is in for some japes and probably a changing room banter special, with Piers Morgan absolutely no different.
He was lining up for a shot at Jamie Redknapp in goal when Freddie Flintoff struck, as you can see in the video.

It was a particularly enjoyable and amusing moment as it caught Piers at his smuggest, lapping up the applause of the audience and geeing them up, only to have himself kegged in front of the nation.
Any schoolboy knows that to have your kecks pulled down is embarrassing. The embarrassing part isn't so much that they got pulled down but rather that it is the moment in which you attempt to pull them back up, waddling inelegantly while everyone else falls about the place.
James Corden brays, Jack Whitehall laughs, Freddie is in stitches and Piers looks like thunder, but realises that he can't take on an actually-popular person in this contest, not to mention one who is twice his size.
Of course, this isn't the first time that Piers has had his pants pulled down by a cricketer on national television, though it is the first time (to our knowledge) that it has happened literally.
He was famously the target of an over from Freddie Flintoff's old sparring partner, Brett Lee, live on Channel Four, where the Aussie seamer made every effort to smash the TV presenter and only subsequently his stumps.
Morgan broke three ribs in the stunt, which was later described by former New Zealand captain Richard Hadlee as 'dangerous and unnecessary'.
Piers wasn't that perturbed in the end on A League Of Their Own. He missed his penalty and went on to present his TV show as normal. This week he defended catcallers, got into a shouting match with Alan Sugar (see below), and forgot how to use an autocue.

Actually, getting his pants pulled down literally might actually be an improvement, now we think of it.
