Big news.

Since the highly anticipated release of Deadpool, there has been a huge calling for more superhero movies to be R-rated.

There have been plenty of rumours as to which superhero will be taking up the next sweary, violent, and witty role, but nothing has been confirmed, until now.

Producer Simon Kinberg revealed in an interview with Collider that shooting has begun for Wolverine 3 and they're aiming for an R-rating.

He said: "It takes place in the future, and as you and others have reported, it is an R-rated movie. It's violent, it's kind of like a western in its tone. It's just a very cool, different film."It's a very radical, bold, different Wolverine than you've ever seen in any of these movies."

This certainly means that Hugh Jackman will be even more of a beast in his once again reprised role as Wolverine.

The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold, was originally intended to be R-rated, but Mangold shot alternative footage to make sure they had the option of going PG-13 if they wanted to - which they did.

We've got an awful lot to thank Deadpool for, hopefully this will become a recurring theme in superhero movies.

What's everyone's opinion on this? Good move, or bad?
