As with any MCU film, things are getting tense. We've waited patiently and now the time has come for us to reveal that Avengers: Endgame tickets are FINALLY ON SALE.

The fourth - and final - instalment in the EPIC Avengers franchise will be released on 25 April in the UK and its set to have the biggest opening weekend in US movie history. We can't say we're all that surprised to be fair -fans have been on the edge since the end of Infinity War.

Predictors at Exhibitor Relations have said they expect Avengers: Endgame to make an astonishing $282 million (£212m) on its opening weekend in the United States.

If they're right this would see it surpass the saga's previous movie, Avengers: Infinity War, which holds the current record for highest grossing film after raking in $258m (£197m) on its opening weekend last year.

Speaking to Bloomberg, however, senior analyst Jeff Bock did say that it's not a certainty just yet.

He said: "The only thing that could really affect the opening weekend would be a running time that exceeded three hours, which has yet to be confirmed by Disney."

The official run-time for the movie has now been released and it's a mighty three hours and two very important minutes.

The exciting news was revealed on AMC's website and tweeted out by MCUComics.com founder Jeremy Conrad.

The tweet said: "AMC has update their website with the official synopsis for #AvengersEndgameand lists the runtime as 3 hours, 2 minutes."

But despite the length, the film's directors, the Russo Brothers, are pretty confident audiences will be on the edge of their seat for the entire 182 minutes.

Speaking to Collider about the screenings, Joe Russo said: "We're still at the three-hour mark. I think the studio is down with what the best story is.

"Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we've had great responses from our test audiences and we're feeling very good about where it is. We're still doing work to it. We're not done with it."

Joe added: "When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours' worth of real estate."

Come at us, real estate. Bring. It. On.
