Scarlett Moffatt Paid Off Her Parents' Mortgage With Her 'Gogglebox' Money

For most of us, paying off our parents' mortgage in your twenties is something we can only dream of unless you're a celebrity (or this guy).
When Scarlett Moffatt began experiencing some fame thanks to her quick wit on Channel 4 show Gogglebox, she decided to spread the wealth.
Speaking to her camp-mates, she revealed that she paid of her parents' mortgage and only recently packed in her 9-5 job. In fact, she even said that this time last year she was chatting to her co-workers about the show. Now she's on it. Mad.
She said: "My aim is to be able to buy me mam and dad a caravan.
"Because they've always wanted a caravan, but they're like 20 grand, and I really want to be able to buy them one.
"And that's the dream; everyone wants to be able to look after their mam and dad, like they did when you were younger.
"I paid their mortgage off with my mum and dad's house for them."
To be fair, according to the Birmingham Mail, she's taking home £70K for her stint on I'm A Celeb, so maybe she can treat them to a caravan sooner rather than later?
