HBO has finally dropped a new teaser trailer for the final season of Game of Thrones and even though the trailer doesn't offer much in terms of season 8 spoilers - it has left fans with a lot of questions.

In the trailer it shows Jon Snow, Arya and Sansa Stark in the crypt's underneath Winterfell where members of the Stark family are buried when they die. The graves of those who have died, such as Ned, Catelyn and Lyanna Stark, are represented by statues of that person.

After passing by the statues, the Stark children come up to three new statues, of themselves.

This has raised a lot of questions from fans, especially when you look into the detail of the statues - Jon's seems to appear older than Sansa and Arya's and people want to know what it all means.

Many people have been speculating the statues mean the three will die, with Jon dying after the two Stark girls.

"One person commented: "Omg I think I get it! I have a theory! Those are statues of the dead right? Arya's & Sans a look like them are that age because they die at that age. Jon's statue is old because he lives to old age and bran isn't there because he's going to be immortal or some shit."

Another posted: "Seriously, does this mean Sansa and Arya are gonna die young and Jon won't? WHY."

"Oh #ForTheThrone is giving me chills, I can't wait for April 14th and I hope winter is not coming for Arya and Sansa seeing that their statues are young while Jon's is an old Jon," a third tweeted.

However, some people don't seem to think this means they will die as one person referenced back to the trailer for season 6.

Others think that Bran Stark not appearing in the trailer and ice filling the hall behind the trio suggest it's more proof backing up he's the Night King.

No official comments have been made around the theories posed by fans, so it looks like we may have to wait until 14 April when Game of Thrones finally hits our screens for the very last time.

What we do know is that season 8 is going to be the biggest yet - even with only six episodes - the last series is set to have the biggest battle and be like watching six films.
