Making A Murderer's Steven Avery has spoken out for the first time in a broadcast interview and has revealed he wants Brad Pitt to play him in a movie about his life.
I think old Bradders has got enough going on at the minute, though, to be honest. Probably not a great time for him to be getting into the character of a potential cold-blooded killer.

Avery, 54, is currently behind bars for the murder of Teresa Halbach. However, he is speaking to Dr Phil, via phone from prison, in a two-part special due to air on CBS on October 3 and 4. Can't wait for that!
His new fiancee, Lynn Hartman, will also give her first sit-down interview. She got engaged to Avery after eight months of speaking over the phone, despite only meeting him in person for the first time just two weeks ago. I'll let you make your own mind up about that one.

Avery also told Dr Phil he hopes that the "truth will come out" and that his conviction will be overturned like Brendan Dassey's was.

"The truth is coming out, and sooner or later all the truth will come out," said Avery.
Netflix's Making a Murderer Season 2 is currently being filmed, however, its release date is awaiting an official announcement.
