We all used to love sitting down with a brew and a big bag of Dorito's before working our way through countless re-runs of Takeshi's Castle - the strange but captivating game show that somehow never seems to get old.

Its bizarre slapstick comedy has even got some of us through the bleakest hangovers, bringing us joy in the dark times through the power of someone flailing into the water or faceplanting mud. Ah, and all those weird sound effects - we were there for those, for sure.
Well, the good news is that it'll be returning next month, though there's a slight difference this time.
Radio host and TV presenter Roman Kemp has been brought on board to front the new version of the show, taking over from Jonathan Ross as the narrator when it returns for a new series on Comedy Central UK towards the end of next month.

Switching things up from previous seasons, Roman will also be joined by several other celebrities throughout the course of its run - including famous dad, Martin Kemp, who you'll remember from his Spandau Ballet or EastEnders days - as they help him co-host.
Other confirmed celebrity guests include I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, Love Island's Chris Hughes and Strictly Come Dancing star Vick Hope - who also appears with Roman on Capital FM.
Comedy Central UK's vice president Louise Holmes said: "We're so excited to welcome Roman Kemp to the Comedy Central family as he takes the hosting reins for a brand new series of Takeshi's Castle.
"We're really mixing things up this series by having celebrity commentators visible in the corner of the screen and Roman's cheeky, energetic humour fits perfectly with the crazy antics of Takeshi's Castle."
While the show first aired in Japan in the 1980s, it didn't officially make its debut onto UK screens until 2002, when it was hosted by Craig Charles. He'll always be the one that brought the best chat; don't @ me.

After him, Dick and Dom (you know, the ones from 'da bungalow') took over narrating duties when it was rebooted in 2013, before Jonathan Ross took over when it came back last year.
Here's to many, many more hangovers spent giggling away like Beavis and Butthead at people falling over. The question is, though: will anyone actually bloody win?
