A teaser trailer has landed for Stranger Things season four.
While most of us were still waiting for official confirmation from Netflix, the streaming giant has gone one better and not only told us a fourth season is happening, but shared a bit of a trailer, too.
Although the short clip doesn't give very much away, it at least teases the vital clue that 'we're not in Hawkins anymore'. Could that be a possible reference to the fan theory that we could be headed to Russia this time around?
One posted: "Why do I feel like this will be the best season ever?"
Another wrote: "We need answers!"
While a third very pleased fan added: "There's going to be a Stranger Things 4 and I literally can't be more excited about anything."
And if that isn't good enough news for you, Netflix has also announced a 'multi-year film and series overall deal', meaning we can expect to see a lot more from the duo in the future.
Confirming the news about the deal, Ted Sarandos, chief content officer at Netflix, said: "The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we're thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love.
"We can't wait to see what The Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down."
While the Duffer Brothers added: "We are absolutely thrilled to continue our relationship with Netflix. Ted Sarandos, Cindy Holland, Brian Wright, and Matt Thunell took a huge chance on us and our show - and forever changed our lives.
"From our first pitch meeting to the release of Stranger Things 3, the entire team at Netflix has been nothing short of sensational, providing us with the kind of support, guidance, and creative freedom we always dreamed about.
"We can't wait to tell many more stories together - beginning, of course, with a return trip to Hawkins!"
Well, this sounds all pretty bloody exciting, doesn't it?
As yet Stranger Things 4 doesn't have a release date - but we'll let you know as soon as we do.Featured Image Credit: Netflix
