The Best From Jeremy Clarkson's Facebook Q&A

What did he get up to?

Earlier today we finally found out the title for what Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond's Amazon exclusive driving show will be.

The title is The Grand Tour and a few people think that's a shit name but that's totally irrelevant, millions are going to watch it regardless. Top Gear wasn't popular because it was called 'Top Gear' it was popular because of the trio that fronted it.

Anyway, after the announcement was made, Jeremy Clarkson hosted a Q&A on Facebook. And he was on fine form, if you're a fan of Clarkson anyway. If not, he's unlikely to have won over any of his detractors.

Here are the best moments from the affair:

Graham Doyle said: 'I think you could have done better with the name.....'

To which Clarkson swiftly replied: 'Said a man called Graham.'

Michael Sharpe: 'How will you deal with past problems you may have caused in countries ? Cause some say you cause offence but all we know is.... , Bribery maybe ?'

Clarkson's reply: 'We only had a problem in Argentina. And we can solve that by not going back'

One of the big questions came from Sami Ullah who asked: 'Will there be a studio audience? And how can I be in it?'

As of yet, that remains an unknown.

Clarkson said: 'We are working on how tickets can be allocated.'

Jadon Mayhew: 'What colour is the tent?'

Clarkson: 'Green.'

Craig Matthews wondered: 'Will you do an episode, showing you, building the tent?'

No.

Clarkson: 'Or we could drive some cars....'

Jake Humphries: 'Will fans be able to come and watch it be filmed ?'

Jeremy Clarkson: 'Yes'

We know the first episode was filmed in Portugal but what about other countries that will be visited?

Susanne Offermann: 'Is there a chance you might be coming to Germany?'

Clarkson: 'A very very good chance.'

Jordy Evans: 'Not about the tent, but will you test the new Alfa Romeo Giulia? (Please say you'll do)'

Clarkson: 'On it.'

There were several more answers, which can be read in the full thread here.

So, we now have a few more details on the show, no word as to when exactly it will air just yet though.
