Can we take a moment to appreciate how goddamn adorable Toothless is in the How To Train Your Dragon film franchise? Well it looks like he's about to find love and we realised that we identify with him more than we thought.
We may not have wings but we have got his level of skills when it comes to chatting up. It looks pretty awks that's for sure.
The trailer for How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World landed yesterday and it shows a major threat to the Dragon-Viking utopia. Just when everything was going well...

But all of that is pushed to one side because something more important is going down - Toothless the dragon's love life, to be precise. Yes, he's looking for a date and he finds one. Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
Jay Baruchel returns as his character Hiccup, who serves as chief and ruler of Berk, the viking village for those who don't know, with Astrid (America Ferrera) also back on board.
As Hiccup and his village work to maintain a peaceful co-existence with dragons, the sudden appearance of a 'Light Fury' dragon puts Toothless a bit on edge. He likes her, oh yes he does.

And we get it, she's beeeeaut. But a major threat appears in the form of a dragon hunter who wants to take out our fave dragon boy because he's 'the only one' of his kind. Told you it always has to be ruined.
The trailer mainly focuses on Toothless meeting Light Fury for the first time, and acting like a nitwit around her. But it looks hilarious. He styles it out, she'd be a fool not to fall for him.
And people are clearly loving his quest for love as much as us, with some comparing it to their own love life.

One fan wrote: "Wow, even animated dragon found [a] girlfriend sooner than me."
Someone else agreed saying: "I said the exact same thing... to myself."
Another added: "This Series Looks like it Gets better with every Movie! Second One was Great and i'm expecting this to be awesome."
It even had some people laughing at the fact they were well into their 20s and 30s and weren't ashamed to admit it was their ultimate guilty pleasure. We feel you.

One said: "27, bulky, tall, i would say handsome and ill hit the Cinema alone, because i will cry... again, the third time."
And another commented: "I'll just take my niece with me so nobody will look weird 20 y old here and I'm hyped as hell now. A few tears allrdy [sic] did fall because this movie looks so good."
There's no shame in loving animated dragons, people. No shame at all.
