The New 'Jigsaw' Movie Looks Sick

The New 'Jigsaw' Movie Looks Sick

'I want to play a game.'

As movie bad guys go, I reckon our man Jigsaw has definitely done enough to earn himself a place in the 'horrible bastards' hall of fame.

And, if this latest clip released ahead of the new movie Jigsaw is anything to go by, it seems that his bloody, gruesome memory (and voice) lives on:

This new clip was shared by ING earlier today and to me it's very reminiscent of Saw 5 when Jigsaw lashed all those collars on the people who all could have survived had they just worked together. (Lesson learnt).

Several commentors pointed out what they thought was an easy way to end this particular game suggesting that the someone could run forward and use the blade to cut through the chain, but this was quickly shot down by another commentor who pointed out that those blades wouldn't be any use against metal, as they're designed for wood. They would presuambly also make short work of flesh and bone, though.

This is the eighth film in the Saw franchise, and fans of gore are in for a treat because it's going to be as blood-soaked as ever. Just in time for Halloween, too.

The film kicks off with baffled cops discovering a series of bodies across the city, all killed in gruesome and, let's be honest, creative ways. The MO and evidence all seems to point towards one culprit - John Kramer, otherwise known as Jigsaw or The Jigsaw Killer.

Except that, as fans of the previous movies will know, Jigsaw is dead and has been for 10 years. So, who is carrying out the murders?

Saw 3D was originally hailed as the end of the popular horror franchise, however Lionsgate announced last year that they had commissioned a pitch from Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger - neither of whom worked on the original seven movies, but let's not hold that against them.

Tobin Bell, who plays Jigsaw, will be making an appearance, whether this is in flashback scenes or he's somehow come back from the dead is anyone's guess. But, if you're dying to know, you'll be pleased to hear that you don't have much of a wait. The movie hits cinemas on October 26. I don't know about you, but I can't wait.
