There was always suspicion among The Office fans around whether downtrodden Dunder Mifflin HR man Toby Flenderson was in fact the infamous Scranton Strangler. Now a hilarious Making A Murder parody released by the official The Office YouTube channel investigates the clues in detail.

The clip, entitled 'Making A Strangler' compiles all the snippets from the show in which the Scranton Strangler is mentioned and weaves them together in a way that leaves us questioning if Toby is really as harmless as he seems.

While The Office was still running, many fans had their money on the culprit being office weirdo Dwight Schrute who previously dressed up as the Strangler and creepily suggested to office staff that his computer password might be scrantonstrangler666.

However, Toby involved himself in the trial and even went to visit the alleged Strangler in jail. Ok, so admittedly he did leave with wounds from being strangled himself but could they have been self-inflicted in order to lend his version of events some credibility? Who knows.

It's been several years since the US version of The Office last graced our screens but there have been rumours circulating for several months now that a reboot of the show for 2018 could be in the works over at NBC.

According to TVLine, NBC is working on a new series of The Office, which would apparently 'feature a mix of new and old cast members' but without Steve Carrell returning to his role as Michael Scott.

The potential revival would air in the 2018-2019, following the successful return of Will & Grace, with NBC president Bob Greenblatt having previously stated: "I've talked to Greg [Daniels, show creator] four times over the past few years. It's always, 'Maybe someday, but not now'."

A reboot of the highly successful show would no doubt be a massive ratings boost for the channel and fans who've been missing The Office since it finished its run in 2013 would be overjoyed.

However, comebacks like this don't have a great track record for actually being any good, so only time will tell whether or not the show's creators can pull it off and do the original justice.
