Weird, aren't they, The Apprentice tasks.

They'll send them out on a sunny day in London to sell fudge or soap, or some other random shit. So there they are in their sunglasses, sleeves rolled up, their foreheads wet with perspiration at the prospect of meeting Lord Sugar in the boardroom later and the warmth of the sun. But then it all changes.

A couple of hours later, after they get fired, they emerge in big winter coats and scarves? Like in this video:

It's something which hasn't escaped viewers' notice on social media.

Well, apparently there's a very good reason.

The shot where you see them walking out of Lord Sugar's offices looking like the 'feel like pure shit, just want her back' meme is filmed before any of the challenges even take place.

The contestants do the 'walk of shame' on the first day of filming, the only person who avoids having their's aired is the overall series winner.

Coats and scarves are used to cover up their clothing for continuity, as it's likely they will be wearing something else on the day of their actual exit - when they have to film their reaction to getting booted in the taxi.

But, I know what you're thinking here, why not just film the walk out to the taxi on the day they're chucked off?

Well they can't, as Lord Sugar's offices are miles away from The Apprentice's TV studio.

That's not the only continuity error exposed by viewers, 'PA' who tells the candidates to go into the board room looks at the same calendar every time. This is because it's a fake calendar and not representative of Lord Sugars actual meeting arrangements.

A spokesperson for The Apprentice told the Mirror: "For data protection reasons, we aren't able to show real information, so the documents shown are just a representation."

The more you know.
