The Reviews Are In And Apparently ‘Deadpool 2’ Is Bloody Amazing

There has been a LOT of hype leading up to this film and judging from the early reviews, it was all worth it

There have been few movies that have had as much hype as Deadpool 2. The first film was undeniably incredible as it had the perfect mix of mutant action, foul language and comedy.

It's always a gamble when movie studios go for a sequel as they tend to never live up to the original - however that doesn't seem to be the case with this Ryan Reynolds movie.

The reviews for the upcoming Marvel film are in and it's a resounding thumbs-up.

Those lucky few who have been given a sneak peek at the movie (because that's kind of their job) have taken to social media to give their seal of approval.

Some even went as far as saying that the sequel is a big improvement on the first - how that's possible is beyond me, but I'm fully on board if so.

Uproxx writer Mike Ryan wrote: "Didn't like the first Deadpool. DEADPOOL 2 beat me into submission until I was actually enjoying myself. Also, it features my now favourite post-credit scene."

Collider's Steven Weintraub said: "Happy to report Deadpool 2 is a lot of fun and had me laughing beginning to end. Stuff after the credits is *awesome*. All the people added to the film were perfectly cast. Avoid spoilers. Always makes it a better experience."

Indiewire's Kate Erbland posted this: "I'll say this, it earns the hell out of that R rating. And the cameos. And the post-credit scenes."

And People's Nigel M Smith penned: "Deadpool 2 is no doubt the most violent major release since Kill Bill Volume 1. It's also funnier than the first and has me genuinely excited for a sequel. Oh, and it features a ton of Canada jokes, so of course I loved it."

Do we need to say more?

Most of the reviewers have mentioned how bloody awesome the post-credits scene is - a staple of superhero movies these days.

Vox's Alex Abads said that it's even better than Avengers: Infinity War - which is a hell of a statement, considering how much everyone was creaming their pants over that movie.

The idea that it's potentially more violent than Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill would be a bloody achievement and a half - and surprise surprise, that's also making everyone very excited to see it.

Another reviewer said that Deadpool 2 should make $1 billion at the Box Office. If it does achieve that feat, it will be interesting to see if it beats previous chart toppers Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther.
