The Simpson's Predicts That Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Take Over From Trump

So it will probably happen.

PERSON: 'Sir, there's a crisis' ARNIE: 'Get to the chopper'!

PERSON: 'So, budget depending, can we sign off those social reforms that will help the nation? ARNIE: 'I do not have any money'.

PERSON: It's going to be chilly, tonight, isn't it Arnold'? ARNIE: 'Tonight's forecast - a FREEZE is coming'!

PERSON: What do you need to run the country effectively? ARNIE: 'I need you clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle'.

And that is how Arnold Schwarzenegger would run the country. Extra points if you know what movie 'I do not have any money' comes from.

Anyway, you know the way we all sort of think The Simpsons can predict the future now?

Well, way back in 2007 (or the good old days as I've started calling them), they showed President Schwarzenegger in the White House and now people think that, well, it's going to happen.

"I was elected to lead, not to read," Arnie says in the clip from The Simpsons Movies, which actually seems like something Trump would say.

Given that he was the governor of California for seven years, and was a pretty popular one at that, he already has more political experience under his belt than the current pres-elect.

However, the only thorn in his side is the US constitution, which states: "No Person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this constitution, shall be eligible to the office of president." Which would mean that Austrian-born Arnie isn't eligible to run. And that carrying guns around is all good.

Meanwhile in the UK we still abide by the Magna Carta.

Still, there's always amendments, isn't there?

Let's make this happen. And let's hope he stays in the character of Ben Richards the whole time.

Hasta la vista, baby.
