The Trailer For M. Night Shyamalan's 'Glass' Just Dropped

The trilogy started with 2000's Unbreakable, and was backed up by 2016's Split, and now Glass.

A whole host of the actors who made Unbreakable a success all of those years ago are to return to play those roles once again.

Importantly, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson are back. Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard also return. Interestingly enough, James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy will also appear in the roles that they played in Split.

As for new additions to thecast, Sarah Paulson will be starring in this film as a character who hasn't appeared in any of the films yet.

Paulson has recently been in Ocean's 8, as well as 12 Years A Slave, and TV shows like American Horror Story, and The People v. O.J. Simpson.

It looks as if the adventurous Indian filmmaker Shyamalan is going to try to tie the whole series together now. Perhaps we will finally see why Split is relevant to the other films in this one.

It seems as if the plot of Glass will revolve around Dunn and one of the many split personalities of Kevin Wendell-Crumb (McAvoy).

The persona known as 'The Beast' will be followed by David Dunn through a series of events, all the while being shadowed by the mysterious Elijah Price, or 'Mr Glass'.

Exactly what that means in not clear, and the trailer isn't about to clear too much of that up, Anyone who has ever seen a film that M. Night Shyamalan has directed knows that there will almost definitely be a lot more to it than there seems, and there will be a massive twist at the end.

That's just the way that these things go.

Anyway, if you're interested in finding out what it all means - and why wouldn't you be - it will be released in cinemas next January. January 18^th, 2019 to be precise.
