The trailer has just dropped for All Eyez On Me and it looks as awesome as we all hoped.

The film, which focuses on the life and career of rapper Tupac Shakur, is due to be released in June, the month in which he would have turned 46.

Tupac was killed following a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996.

Demetrius Shipp Jr. will play the lead role with Jamal Woolard playing Tupac's former friend-come-rival, The Notorious B.I.G.

The film, according to IMDB, will tell the 'true and untold' story of the prolific rapper, actor, poet and activist.

It will begin in New York City, and follow is increased public stature, up to the point of him dying, somewhat prematurely, at the age of 25.

His rise to fame was due to 'raw talent, powerful lyrics and revolutionary mind-set' which 'propelled him into becoming a cultural icon whose legacy continues to grow long after his passing.'

The trailer release comes within the same week when Suge Knight, who was with Tupac on the night that he died, has revealed who he thinks killed the rapper.

Knight, who along with Tupac, was travelling home after watching Mike Tyson in a boxing match, will be the focus of a new documentary on the event.

Tupac Assassination: Battle for Compton shows a thorough investigation into the death of Tupac and investigates if there was evidence of a cover-up.

Knight, who is currently standing trial for a different murder, believes that Reggie Weight Jr and his ex-wife were the pair who fired the gun.

Thaddeus Culpepper, Knight's attorney, wrote in a statement that his client had known for 'many years that Reggie Wright Jr and his ex-wife, Sharitha, were behind the murder of Tupac and attempted murder of Knight.'

According to the legal mind, Knight also has knowledge of Wright's alleged involvement in the murder of Biggie Smalls.

Even within moments of the trailer release for the film, the reaction was one of excitement...
