It's finally here guys! The trailer for Zombieland 2: Double Tap has dropped, and it looks every bit as good as the first one.

The first glimpse at the new movie shows OG stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin back on the road fighting hordes of the undead.

The trailer shows the gang in the White House, so quite the upgrade from last time around, and introduces us to a number of new faces.

For now, we don't know much about the plot, but we do know that it's named after one of Columbus's (Eisenberg) all important 33 rules alongside 'cardio', 'beware of bathrooms' and 'get a kickass partner'.

Director Ruben Fleischer has teased that we'll meet a host of 'new characters', with additional cast members including Zoey Deutch, Rosario Dawson, Luke Wilson, Thomas Middleditch and Avan Jogia.

Speaking at a junket for the movie Venom back in 2018, Fleischer said: "We are in the middle right now of casting for the film. We're going to introduce a bunch of new characters, which is really cool and exciting."

"We obviously have the original four coming back, which is a dream come true. We start shooting in January in Atlanta. I think I go there in like four weeks, which is crazy. It's nuts. I don't get a day off. I don't get any rest. It's all coming together in a really exciting way."

The official synopsis on IMDb doesn't give much away, reading: "Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors, and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family."

It's been 10 years since the original was released, meaning fans are more than ready for this sequel, with one person asking: "Anyone else overly excited for Zombieland 2?" Yes. I am.

Another added: "I'm so ready for this. Wonder if there's gonna be a celebrity cameo like Bill Murray's in the first one."

Well, you might be in luck, because Murray is, somehow, rumoured to make a return alongside fellow Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd.

Zombieland 2: Double Tap hits cinemas on 18 October.
