A comedy sketch which was recorded in Las Vegas one day before the Al-Qaeda 9/11 attacks has never been aired.

It was entitled I Kinda Like It When A Lotta People Die. Considering the material, which contained jokes about Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks, it was no surprise that the comedy routine was shelved and didn't air when it was supposed to.

Comedian George Carlin's stand-up routine was filmed over two days and contained a joke about Osama Bin Laden's fart bringing down a jet plane, reports the Independent.

"You know who gets blamed? Osama bin Laden," Carlin joked. "The FBI is looking for explosives. They should be looking for minute traces of rice and bok choy."

Now, 15 years after the worst reported terrorist attack in America, the routine will be made public for the first time.

The New York Times said that the show, which Carlin, who died in 2008, recorded the day before the 9/11 attacks, is to be shown on Sirius XM and will be available to download or buy through Amazon and iTunes.

Paying homage to Carlin's talent as a comedian, it's scheduled to be released on September 16.
