The Stone Roses will take over the Etihad this week to play four comeback gigs in their home city of Manchester.
As excitement builds online, we decided to take a look back at one of frontman Ian Brown's greatest moments.
Cast your mind back to 2006. Brown was gearing up to play a live gig for Carling and agreed to take part in an interview before the show with T4's Steve Jones. However, the interview turned into a bit of a disaster.

Things started getting sketchy between the pair when the presenter asked Ian to demonstrate some of his martial arts moves. Unimpressed, Ian declined. However, Steve then offered to move a table in order for him to show off some techniques. Bad move, Steve.
"Do you want knocking out from here, or do you want me to get over there and do it?" he quipped. Seemed pretty fair to me to be honest.
I've watched this clip so many times over the years and, honestly, it never fails to make me laugh.
The awkward encounter was then cut when he proceeded to remove his microphone and walk off. It was all kinds of awkward but equally brilliant at the same time.

According to reports, Channel 4 were supposed to be filming the gig but the 'I Wanna Be Adored' singer decided to pull the plug on their plans and refused to let them film his gig.
Never forget.
