It's tough to describe just how you feel about your favourite childhood films. Toy Story is one of those things that still manages to strike a chord with young adults, for reasons we can't really understand.

That's why when Toy Story 4 was announced it was okay to start writing 'Andy' on the sole of your shoe and get all giddy, but there may be some bad news regarding the film.

Mashable revealed that a Pixar insider told them that we'll have to wait an extra year to see Woody and Buzz again, with it being pushed back to June 21, 2019, with Toy Story's official Facebook account later confirming this.

This bad news does also come with some decent news, however, as The Incredibles 2, another childhood favourite movie worthy of a sequel, is being pushed forward to the fourth Toy Story's original release date.

Due to the impressive rate at which the second Incredibles film is being made, thanks to director Brad Bird, it will now be released on June 15, 2018, according to Mashable.

The original film which followed the lives of the cartoon superhero family made a right splash at the box office, grossing a reported $633 million worldwide and winning two Oscars. You can see why Pixar is going back for a sequel.
