The great thing about epic fantasies like Star Wars is that fans have the opportunity to come up with their own awesome theories about the universe and all the crazy characters within.
One such theory that came about fairly recently is that globally hated Jar Jar Binks is in fact a Sith Lord... or at least could have been.
Well, the man who played Jar Jar all those years ago, Ahmed Best, has finally had his say on the theories and it makes for interesting listening (discussion starts around 5.20 mark)...
"There's a lot about it that's true. There are some things about it that are not true. Could Jar Jar have evolved into that? The answer is 'yes.' Lucasfilm backed off of Jar Jar a lot. Was there an official Darth Jar Jar in the works? That's a George Lucas question."

Interesting stuff. It looks like not every fan theory is just a theory after all.
