There's always a lot going on during Ant and Dec's weekly Saturday Night Takeaway show, where the Geordie duo entertains a studio audience and viewers at home with a series of stunts and surprises.
In tonight's show things reached new levels of excitement, when one man asked a woman to marry him. Yup, on live TV. Brave move, eh?
The show relived the moment via Twitter:

It was during a segment called 'Run For Your Wife', a 5km dash across London that saw contestants competing for tickets to the series finale in Orlando.
Her reaction looked as though she was pretty chuffed with the surprise, and Ant and Dec later confirmed the pair's engagement.
Over on social media viewers seemed a little divided about the high profile grand gesture, with some finding the proposal romantic and congratulating the couple, while others were left cringing at it all happening on live TV.
"That was a lovely moment," one person tweeted.

"The cutest thing. Congratulations guys!!" another wrote.
"OMG he proposed HOWCUTE #saturdaynighttakeaway," another person said.
One viewer tweeted: "Oh bloody hell, that was a hell of a set up just to propose on TV!"
While another said: "I always find it cringe as hell when people propose on TV," one viewer commented.

One person even wrote that the engagement was 'fixed as fuck' adding: "What was the point of the race then? The whole point was to win a place on the plane!"
It's not the first time the programme's seen some romance unfurl live on TV, either. It had its very first on-screen proposal way back in 2014, when Ant and Dec helped Lewis propose to unsuspecting girlfriend Laura.
And then two years later it happened again during a sketch called 'We Know What You Did Last Summer', which involves an audience member receiving a bunch of surprises.
This time round, guest Victoria was shocked to find out that while travelling around the world the summer previously, her parents had actually been spying on her every move.

However, the real twist turned out to be when her boyfriend appeared from nowhere, descending onto one knee before asking: "Victoria, I love you so very, very much - will you marry me?"
She said yes, you'll be delighted to know.
Would've been pretty awkward if they'd all said no, wouldn't it?
