There's no denying it - lockdown can be testing at times so why not stick FIFA on and have a quick game with some of the lads.

Seven hours later and, depending on whether you're any good or not, you might be having the time of your life or you're getting absolutely roasted and if it's the latter you're not going to like the ultimate list of FIFA 20 apology rules that have been released, I can tell you that for free.

Goal.com have released the definitive list of punishments that will surely sting after a tough defeat.

Check out the punishments per goals below:

  • Lose by five goals - A Facebook/Instagram apology to your family for disgracing their name.
  • Lose by six goals - Refer to your opponent by a term of their choosing (Sir, Master etc).
  • Lose by seven goals - Create a Facebook group in which you explain the defeat in detail.
  • Lose by eight goals - Write a letter to your opponent's parents explaining their superiority.
  • Lose by nine goals - Phone a public service number (not a key worker in these current testing times) and tell them about your crushing loss.
  • Lose by 10 goals - Create a personalised card apologising to your opponent for the shocking defeat
  • Lose by 11 goals - Tell a neighbour how shoddy your skills are.
  • Lose by 12 goals - Play your next match completely naked with just the game box covering your modesty (Let's hope you didn't buy the game digitally!)
  • Lose by 13 goals - Your opponent gets 13 uninterrupted minutes on your Facebook/Instagram
  • Lose by 14 goals - Print a t-shirt with the scoreline on it then wear it on a night out.
  • Lose by 15 goals - Snap the game disc in half and take a long break.

If those kinds of punishments seem too tame, then there are some very specific ones that ramp up the intensity.

Clauses for different players scoring goals can range from funny to genuinely terrifying.

Scoring with a goalkeeper means your opponent has to wear goalkeeper gloves for the next game, while a hat-trick with Alexis Sanchez means your opponent has to eat a red hot chilli of your choice.

A hat-trick with Erling Haaland means your opponent needs to recreate the Norweigan's trademark 'tranquility' celebration anywhere you choose.

While the same stipulation with Neymar and Paul Pogba will result in your rival choosing what colour he gets to dye your hair or your haircut in general. Well, no one's going to see it, I guess... every cloud and all that.
