Ever since we first laid eyes on Baby Yoda we've wanted to get our hands on one and now you can... sort of.

Electronic Arts

The adorable star Disney+ The Mandalorian character has been added to The Sims 4, so now you can buy your very own.

The cute character has been splashed all over social media in meme form and now you can add him to your Sims' homes as a little statue.

Baby Yoda isn't custom content, he's been made available with the latest game update.

You can find him by searching in build/buy mode under sculptures or you can search for him as 'Baby Yoda'.

Baby Yoda is officially called 'The Child Statue' and his caption read: "This statue is a lovable replica inspired by the Disney+ live action series, The Mandalorian."

Fans are delighted with the new addition and have showed off their Baby Yoda statues in situ.

If a statue on The Sims isn't enough for you, then you'll be delighted to know that Baby Yoda toys are available to buy.

On sale in Target in the US, the toys - also called The Child - start at $9.99 (£7.44) and comes with the little soup bowl you'll all recognise from one of the biggest memes of 2019.

His popularity shows absolutely no signs of slowing down and I'm sure Baby Yoda will be on many Christmas lists this year.

While we all call him Baby Yoda, he actually isn't either Yoda or a baby.

The series is set after Yoda's death, so the cute little fella is just a baby version of whatever species Yoda was. And, in human terms, he's not even a baby; the character is 50 years old but given that Yoda lived to the ripe old age of 900, it's fair to assume he is considered a 'baby' among his own kind.
